The area of the Brda river in Bydgoszcz – a set of roads on the stretch of Gościeradz to Brdyujście. The river from Gościeradz to Smukała is wide, slow and quite sunlit. On the banks you can find sandy bluffs as well as lots of places to swim. On the road we have two portages near the hydroelectric power stations in Tryszczyn and Smukała. Further 6 kilometers from Smukała remind us a stretch from Bory Tycholskie. The river here is faster, narrower and more enshadowed. Here, we invite you to organize a campfire nearby our wooden cottage. From Hypszer’s Bridge the river binds with the Bydgoszcz Canal and notably slows down. Then appears the most beautiful part of the city. We are canoeing to the Venice of Bydgoszcz. From the Pomorski Bridge the Brda is significantly wilder and not available for pedestrians. We can finish canoeing in Brdyujście or canoe to the Vistula since here we have got 1km to Fordon.
